An Athlete in the Family
I have been slacking off on the blogging lately so you will get a few posts today to get you updated on what crazy things have been happening in our home. We are going to have a little athlete in our family. A couple of months ago I asked Allie if she wanted to play T-ball or join a dance class and she informed me that she wants to play Soccer. So Friday I went to the rec center and signed her up. She got a soccer shirt and will start playing sometime in July. I hope she does well. They won't be keeping score. It is more to teach them the basics of soccer. I can't wait to watch her on the field.
2 Month Check up
Gracelyn went in for her 2 month check up on Tuesday. She is now 10lbs 5oz and in the 34% for her weight. She is 22 1/4" long and in the 43% for her height. Her head Circ is 36.2cm and in the 2 %. She is deffinately my kid. She is now cooing and smiles lots and my heart just melts everytime. I love her so much!!
Father and Sons
On Friday May 13, 2011 Christopher and Trevor went to Father and sons for the first time ever. They went to little Moab and camped out overnight. I figure They had a good time. Chris sent me this picture of Trevor. While they were camping out the girls and I went up to salt Lake to see my brother in the hospital after he got out of surgery. We are very happy that he is home and doing good. We love you Riley.
Bumps and Bruises
On Wednesday May 11, 2011 Chris was getting the kids ready to go to the babysitter and Allie had a potty accident in the night and Chris had sent her downstairs to get clean underpants so that she could get in the tub. Instead of doing what she was told, Allie and Trevor decided to play on the treadmill. I guess they pressed a button to make it go faster then they could handle and Trevor fell and landed between the treadmill and the wall and Allie (without clothes on cause she was supposed to get in the tub) fell and had nowhere to go but on the treadmill. Unfortunately for her she got thrown around and scrapped up arms, shoulders, legs, elbows, and hands. We took her to the Dr and they say that she will heal with no scarring. We had gone into the dr Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday to get the bandages changed. Then they dropped the bomb on me and told me I will now have to change the bandages mysef. There is a reason I never went into nursing. I have no patience for kids screaming in my ear while I try my hardest not to hurt them while taking their badages off. Oh I am looking forward to the day that we are done with this trial!!! I do have to say that Allie is a very strong little girl to have to go through all this. I love her tons and hope she will never have to hurt like this again.
