Dentist

So our kiddos went to the dentist for the first time yesterday. Allie did very good at sitting still and getting the x rays done. The lady was very impressed with her. When Trevor finally got in the x ray chair he sat so very still and she put the "blanket" as she calles it, on Trevor and told him she was going to take a picture of his nose. Then she got the film all ready and told him to open his mouth. He looked at it for a while then finally opened his mouth. she put it in his mouth and told him to bite down but he wanted to hold it with his lips instead. She kept telling him to bite down and he finally shook his head and said "uh uh, no mo" and he pulled the vest thing off him. After they were done with the x-rays we went into another room and Allie sat down in the chair to get her teeth brushed with bubble gum toothpaste. As she got her mouth rinsed out with the water she got sprayed in the face due to the water pressure. She was nervous after that to get her mouth rinsed again she kept moving her feet side to side. She got to watch a barbie movie while she was waiting for the dentist and had headphones on. She would laugh out loud at the funny parts of the movie. The dentist said that she has excellent teeth but that she must have bumped her front tooth because he could see nerve damage in the x-ray. They put "finding Nemo" on for trevor to watch while he got his teeth brushed but he barely layed down in the chair and there was no way he was going to get his mouth looked at. We had to sit him on my lap facing me and lay him back on the dentists lap to get his teeth looked at and brushed. The dentist said that Trevor is a litttle stubborn and it is hard to get his teeth clean and we need to work on his a little more when brushing.
