Catching Up

I have been a little lazy with my blog lately, so we are going to catch up with this post. Some of you may not know that I am a step mother (hopefully i'm not considered a wicked one). We got to meet TJ a couple of weeks ago and got a picture of all the kids together. He is a cute kid and is very quiet. That may be because he was just meeting us. Allie likes to think of herself as a princess so, for church we made her hair pretty and she climbed up on the couch to look in the mirror in the front room and said to me "I'm a princess". Today I was cooking dinner and Allie was dancing around the kitchen saying that she is a princess (obviously that's her new favorite word). Here is a video.

Lucky 5

So this is circulating in the blog world....I got this from Marilee, sounds intresting so I thought I would try it. The first 5 people to leave a comment to this post will receive something from me! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:.

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I give you

2. What you receive will be just for you.

3. You will receive it by April 20th.

4. You have no clue what it's going to be. Just put your trust in me :)

The catch? Yep, there IS a catch! You must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 folks that leave a comment telling me that they have posted a similar post like this one on their own blogspot will then win a fabulous gift from ME.

St Particks Day

Allie was given this cute headband when she came to my work today. She kept asking me to help her with her "pretty". I was going to make green eggs and have egg McMuffins for dinner today but Christopher decided to make eggs and bacon for breakfast for him and Allie, Sooooo I decided to make creamy ranch pork chops and rice. I put green food coloring in the water when cooking the rice. I also added the food coloring to the cream of chicken soup. It was really pretty. I hope Chris doesn't freak out when he sees what he will be eating for lunch tomorrow LOL.

Incentive

I never realized how much time and patience it takes to potty train a child. we bought Allie some underwear so she can be a big girl and use the potty. Well she begs to wear her underwear then once they get put on she wants her diaper on instead. Once she realized that wasn't going to happen she would tell us every 2 minutes that she needs to go to the bathroom. Of course there have been accidents and she lets us know afterwards. I decided to get her an incentive to help her remember to tell mom when she needs to go. We went to maceys today on our way home and she picked out her treat for when she goes poop in the potty. The second we got home she was running for the bathroom so she could have a sucker. Seems to be working so far :)
